perc technology
perc - that stands for "Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell". What sounds complicated is as simple as it is ingenious: with normal solar cells, a small part of the sunlight, namely the red light, always passes through the cell unused. Perc technology, on the other hand, uses a layer on the back of the cell to reflect this unused sunlight. This technology helps the solar cell to achieve a higher level of efficiency. Especially when the light tends to be red in color, i.e. in the morning and evening, the system can benefit from the perc effect.
etfe coating
The front of the solar panel is covered with a high-tech plastic layer based on ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (etfe), which offers excellent protection against harmful environmental influences and is also suitable for use in salt water. etfe is lighter and at the same time more translucent than other plastic solutions on the market.
