The Zendure balcony power plant (MPN 019800) presents an excellent solution for generating a portion of your required household electricity and thus significantly reducing overall electricity expenses. The system is equipped with 4 powerful bifacial 450W solar modules, the compact micro-inverter HMS-800W-2T, and the Smart PV Hub 2000. The included HMS connection cable makes installation of all components effortless, thanks to its simple plug-and-play principle.
Additionally, you can choose between 1 to 4 AB1000S or AB2000 batteries to store the generated solar energy. This allows for a total capacity of up to 7,680Wh. These batteries enable efficient energy storage, ensuring the utilization of solar power even with low sunlight or during the night. The AB1000S also offers enhanced technologies and safety features, such as a fire suppression system, a self-heating function, battery balancing, and an integrated battery management system, allowing you to easily control and track all data and facts via the app.

Balcony Power Plants in Germany
Currently, there are no laws or regulations in Germany governing the generation of solar power for private consumption. The limit of a maximum of 600W AC PV power is a reserve value that, according to current VDE standards, can be fed into an existing socket circuit of a house without overloading it. For independent circuits without additional loads, nothing is specified. Any electrical installation must be carried out in accordance with VDE standards. However, operating a balcony power plant through the usual Schuko socket is not fundamentally prohibited. Reporting to the Federal Network Agency is mandatory. However, there are currently no known cases of fines for failing to report balcony power plants, nor insurmountable issues with network operators. Compliance with and implementation of standards and obligations is the responsibility of the system operator. Many technical and legal pieces of information can already be found on relevant websites.
