The votronic d+ Simulator Pro

If consumers are only to be operated while the engine is running or if the on-board and starter battery are to be connected together for charging purposes, the d+ signal of the alternator is used for control.

If this is not accessible or not available with newer alternators, the votronic d+ simulator generates this signal by detecting the vibrations of the running engine. it works independently of the charging mode of the alternator and is therefore particularly suitable for vehicles that have an alternator management system, e.g. vehicles that comply with the Euro 6 standard. With its low current consumption of less than 3ma, it meets the requirements of din en 13976.

The votronic d+ Simulator pro 3067 offers the following functions

Mounting

• Fasten the d+ simulator to a suitable place on the engine using a clamp
• The function of the motor must not be impaired by the mounting.
• The vehicle manufacturer's instructions must be observed.
• The installation position is arbitrary
• Attach the clamp in the lower third (opposite connection side) of the device.
• Check the tight fit of the device!
• Lay the cables in such a way that they cannot touch any parts with temperatures above 100°C
• Fasten cable free from tensile forces
