The Skylla-i panel is a remote control panel designed to operate with all Skylla-i charger models. The Skylla-i charger uses the ve.can bus. Connecting the Skylla-i Panel to your Skylla-i Charger is quite simple. Connect the two devices with a normal utp (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable (cable with unshielded pairs) with two rj45 connectors. Check that the two rj45 bus terminating connectors are present at both ends. The Skylla-i panel is supplied complete with both rj45 bus terminators. Both the Skylla-i charger and the panel have two rj45 jacks that are internally connected. You can connect the cable to either of the sockets.

During normal charging operation, the rotary knob can be used to cycle through the following parameters:
- Charge current
- Battery voltage
- Input current
- Input Current Limit

Switching the Skylla-i charger on and off
The Skylla-i charger is switched on and off by briefly pressing the on/off button. Note that the main power switch on the charger is predominant. If this is switched off on the charger, it can no longer be switched on through the panel.
Setting the charger input current limit
The input current limit can be changed by pressing and releasing the rotary knob. The input current limit is then automatically selected if it was not already activated. Next, the current input current limit appears on the screen. It flashes. By turning the rotary knob, the value of the input current limitation can be changed. To confirm the new value, either wait for a few seconds or briefly press the rotary knob.
