The 25.6V/100Ah lithium-NG battery from Victron Energy (MPN BAT524110620) is a powerful LiFePO4 battery of the latest generation that impresses with its high efficiency and long service life. It can be flexibly integrated into various energy systems and supports both series and parallel connection or a combination of both variants. The integrated shunt transmits important battery data to the BMS in order to precisely calculate the state of charge and issue specific warnings. An outstanding feature is the increased ingress protection (IP classification), which effectively seals the battery against dust and protects it from low-pressure water jets, making it ideal for demanding environments. The battery also boasts a low self-discharge rate of no more than 2% per month, which significantly increases its overall performance, longevity and reliability.

One of the most outstanding features is the improved service life, which is achieved through advanced cell technology, allowing the battery to deliver a higher number of cycles even during intensive use. Setup and control with VictronConnect, GX device or VRM portal

All battery parameters are managed fully automatically by the BMS. The system automatically recognizes the system voltage and the number of batteries, regardless of whether they are operated in parallel, series or series/parallel connection. The Lynx Smart BMS (currently available in the NG 500 A / 1000 A variants) is mandatory and must be purchased separately.

It is monitored and controlled via the VictronConnect app (Bluetooth is integrated in all BMS models), a GX communication center or the VRM portal. In addition, the system enables real-time display of battery parameters such as cell status, voltages, currents and temperatures. Firmware updates for the battery are carried out automatically via the BMS.

Tasks of the BMS:

1. Trigger a pre-alarm when the voltage of a battery cell drops below 3.0 V.
2. Disconnect or switch off the load as soon as the voltage of a battery cell drops below 2.8 V.
3. Interrupt the charging process if the voltage of a battery cell exceeds 3.6 V or the temperature is outside the permissible range (too high or too low).
