The electricity meter Victron em540 (mpn rel200100100) is designed to monitor three-phase operating modes, for example PV inverters, alternating current generators or inverters. This allows you to measure the power and energy of the entire system as a direct measurement in the distribution box. The Victron em540 has a higher sampling speed compared to the em24. It is suitable as a supplement to an inverter/charger from Victron.
The device offers two options for connection to a GX device:
- Cable connection via RS485 to USB interface with a cable length of 1.8m or 5m
- wireless connection via ZigBee-to-USB and ZigBee-to-RS485 converter
