Switching station for mains priority circuit us230/12 12a 2700w 230vac
versatile all-rounder
Offgridtec Switching stations allow you to operate 230v consumers from two different voltage sources without interference. Typically, this is a voltage transformer or the public power grid
With the priority circuit you can determine which power source is to be used preferentially - if this voltage source is not available, the switchover is made to the substitute power source.
The use of high-quality relays guarantees on the one hand a particularly precise switching threshold, on the other hand your voltage transformer is optimally protected against backfeeding of external voltage.

Application example 1 - Mains priority circuit
- The 230 v ac mains is connected to input ac2 (higher priority)
- This means that the battery is protected and the inverter is protected from external voltage at the same time.
- Only when ac2 is de-energized, input ac1 switches on the power supply via battery and inverter
Application example 2 - Inverter priority circuit
- The inverter is connected to input ac2 (higher priority)
- I.e. the current is primarily taken from the battery via the inverter (e.g. when using solar island systems)
- Only when the inverter switches off due to deep discharge protection, the 230 v ac mains is connected via input ac1
