With the multifunctional measuring device from Offgridtec (mpn: 020570) you can carry out precise and reliable water tests. It displays 4 different values, which you can view and evaluate using the "Mode/Cal" button. Check your drinking water, your aquarium or even water for industrial purposes, such as cleaning solar modules. The LED display provides you with all the information at a glance and can be read at your leisure using the hold function. The device comes pre-calibrated, but can be readjusted at any time using an integrated screw on the back.

Display modes

tds ppm (Total Dissolved Solids in Parts Per Million): This value indicates the total concentration of dissolved substances in water in parts per million. This is the sum of all mineral and organic substances dissolved in a liquid. A value that is too high can indicate that the water contains a lot of impurities. For your drinking water, tds values below 600 ppm are acceptable, anything above this can affect the quality and taste. For industrial use, levels above 500 ppm are potentially problematic.
ec µS/CM (Electric Conductivity in Microsiemens per centimeter): The ec value measures the electrical conductivity of water. It is directly proportional to the concentration of ions dissolved in the water. The higher the ec value, the more ions are present, which indicates a higher level of contamination. In the industrial sector, for example, deposits or corrosion can spread more easily to technical equipment or solar modules. Your drinking water should be between 50 and 500 µS/CM range. In industry, values above 1000 µS/CM are regarded as the limit value.
°F and °C: You can measure the temperature of water in 2 different units. On the one hand in °Celcius and on the other hand in °Fahrenheit.

Practical functions

• With the hold function, you can easily record the measurement results and read them off at your leisure. The illuminated display ensures that you can see the values clearly even in the dark or in strong sunlight.
• The automatic switch-off function switches the device off after 5 minutes without pressing any buttons. This saves power and extends the battery life.
• The automatic temperature compensation in measuring mode ensures that the measured values remain accurate regardless of temperature fluctuations.
