Offgridtec PWM Pro Charge Controller 12V/24V 10A USB

The Offgridtec PWM 12/24-10 (MPN 1-01-010910) is a microprocessor controlled solar charge controller with 10A max. charge capacity and can charge both 12V and 24V batteries. It uses advanced 3-stage PWM modulation to get the most out of your AGM, GEL or lead acid batteries. It is suitable for solar systems with a max. PV power of 130W at 12V and 260W at 24V battery voltage.

During charging, important environmental parameters such as battery temperature (only with optional sensor) are used to calculate the optimal charging current. As soon as the battery voltage is in the range of full charge, the charging voltage is reduced step by step. This prevents both gassing and heating of the batteries and thus maximises the service life of the batteries. Charging then continues at reduced voltage until your batteries are actually "full". The result of this method of operation is a better, faster charge without any deterioration in the health of your battery.

Integrated device and battery protection

1. PV short circuit protection - Automatically interrupts the connection in the event of a short circuit on the solar side.
2. PV polarity protection - Automatically interrupts the connection in the event of incorrectly connected polarity on the solar side.
3. Overload protection - If the maximum permissible load current at the controller is exceeded by 5%, the controller automatically disconnects the existing load.
4. Overheat protection - If the heat sink temperature in the controller rises above 85°C, the unit automatically switches off and on again as soon as the temperature is below 70°C again.
5. Protection against short-circuit at the load output - Automatic disconnection in the event of a short-circuit at the load Output.
