The grounding clamps for PV modules from Offgridtec have been specially developed for solar systems and their main task is to ensure a good contact between the solar module and the mounting bracket and at the same time to provide a reliable ground connection. The already pre-assembled clamps consisting of a grounding lug and screws, ensure a reliable grounding of the connection cables. Made of high quality aluminum with a smooth surface, they are resistant to corrosion, rust, wear and UV radiation. This ensures long durability, even under adverse weather conditions, such as high temperatures, strong wind or rain.

The PV grounding clamps connect the PV module to the grounding copper wire and serve as an essential grounding element in lightning protection. In addition, the clamps provide a strong connection between the solar module and the stand, which protects the module from sliding or tilting in adverse weather conditions. In general, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the surfaces before installation to ensure a secure connection. After installation, check that the grounding clamps are tight.
