Offgridtec backup kit 28.8kWh Pylontech LiFePO4 battery - Victron MultiPlus II 48/10000 3-phase inverter

The backup systems from Offgridtec are ideally suited for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. The systems include Lithium-Ion batteries from Pylontech, a compatible MultiPlus-II inverter, and a Cerbo GX MK2 for system monitoring from Victron Energy. This ensures that you can maintain your energy supply even in the event of a power outage.

Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus remains operational even during a grid failure and takes over the supply of connected devices. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.

Extended Use of Your Backup System

To establish an ESS (Energy Storage System) with the backup system, an energy meter with connection cable is required:

• Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter 3-phase Power Meter 75A/phase
• 5m Victron RJ45 UTP Cable

With this power meter, you can set up a grid-parallel installation and subsequently monitor your energy consumption or control your energy costs. Thanks to phase compensation, you can also operate the 3-phase meter for single-phase systems. This facilitates seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and consumers into the existing power grid.

For an ESS to be considered in the pre-configuration, the meter must be purchased in advance or along with the system!
