With the 3kW screw-in heating element without thermostat from my-PV (MPN: 20-0550), you can use your PV power profitably and generate your hot water with the AC-THOR, AC-THOR 9s and SOL-THOR power managers. They control the heating elements steplessly and simultaneously adjust the output precisely to the available solar energy surplus. The cartridge heaters are ideal for installation in fresh water and buffer storage tanks and offer an exceptionally long service life thanks to their special design. They are also equipped with an integrated safety temperature limiter. The temperature sensors are required for applications where higher temperatures are required, such as over 90 °C in the buffer tank.

Infinitely variable with the AC-THOR & AC-THOR 9s

You can easily set your desired hot water temperature using the rotary knob. The two Power Managers automatically detect when the temperature has been reached and automatically switch to standby mode.

Self-sufficient PV heat - steplessly controlled by SOL-THOR

The 3kW screw-in heater is also compatible with the SOL-THOR. You can set the desired temperature directly using a rotary knob. This heating element is intended for higher temperatures and does not have a thermostat, but still has a safety temperature limiter. In such cases, the temperature sensor supplied with the water heater must be used to stop the heating process. Important: You can remove the safety plug from the 3kW heater as the Power Manager does not require direct wiring.
