The TriStar MPPT with TrakStar-Technology™ is a high-end MPPT charge controller for offgrid-photovoltaic systems up to 3kW.Compared to other MPPT-controllers it has the highest efficiency of 99% and the lowest powerloss. The TriSTar MPPT is equipped with an intelligent tracking-algorithm  which optimizes the PV-system's energy-harvesting by detectingthe systems maximum power point.This is the first PV-controller with an intergrated ethernet-interface which allows data logging for 200 days.

The battery life algorithm checks the battery's charging level and heightens the switch-off threshold from day to day. That means that connected consumers are switched off earlier until the produced energy is sufficient for a full battery charge of 100%.
