The Luxneri 370w Full-Black Series 4 from Luxen Solar is a modern, monocrystalline solar module with a twin-panel design and 120 half-cell layout. Thanks to the (9x) multi-busbar technology, three integrated by-pass diodes and the two-part arrangement of the cell strings, this solar panel offers high hot-spot resistance in solo operation and a solid power yield in strings with many modules, even in poor light and partial shading. Half-cut production + twin-panel design = more yield with less heat

In half-cut cell production, the solar cells are cut in half non-destructively using an infrared laser. This allows the 6 cell strings to be formed instead of the usual 3. This technology halves the electrical current of the cell and effectively reduces the internal electrical resistance on the conductor tracks and increases the module output by 2%. The half-cut production also enables the twin-panel design, because thanks to the 6 cell strands, two separate electricity prices can be formed, each covering one half of the solar module. Twin-panel technology thus minimizes power loss in the event of shading and improves the efficiency of the entire PV system.

Another advantage of half-cut production is that by halving the electrical current of both the cells and the cell strings, the hot-spot temperature can be reduced by 50%, which increases the reliability of the PV module.

25% reduction in thermal power loss

Since the halved cells have only half the working current, the thermal power loss of the PV module during operation can be significantly reduced by 25% and the operating temperature of the PV module is also lower, which improves the reliability of the PV module and increases the overall performance.

Multi-busbar technology

Compared with the conventional 5-busbar design, the innovative multi-busbar design with 9 busbars can shorten the current collection path by 50%, thereby significantly reducing the internal resistance of the cell, contributing to a performance increase of 1% to 1.5% compared to the 5-busbar design. The MBB design can also mitigate the power loss caused by blocked electrical paths in case of micro-cracks in the cell and erosion of the finger electrodes due to external factors.
