The Kemo m202 lead battery activator / refresher works against the deposition of lead sulfate and thus increases the service life of the car battery. By very violent, very short current pulses lead sulfate is actively reduced or the deposit is prevented. With led display. The lead battery activator can be permanently connected directly in parallel to the 12v car battery.
Circuit description
Sulfate forms on the plates of lead acid batteries, especially in batteries that are little used or only operated seasonally (e.g. motorcycles with winter break). During self-discharge during idle time, crystalline sulfates slowly cover the lead plates and lead to a reduction in the capacity of the lead-acid battery. The Lead-Acid Activator is simply connected in parallel with the battery and uses very short, very violent current pulses to reduce the sulfate deposits and allow existing sulfate deposits to slowly degrade. It does not matter whether the battery is being charged or not. A trickle charger can therefore be connected at the same time, e.g. in the case of Mottorad batteries. Of course, the lead battery activator also extends the life of car batteries that are in daily active operation.
