The Hoymiles micro inverter HMS-400W-1T has been specially developed for mini solar systems on open spaces such as balconies. With an output power of 400W, it is suitable for solar power production in the range of 320 to 540+ watts. Just like all other micro inverters from Hoymiles, it is suitable for long operating hours and wide PV module applications, as its starting voltage is very low (min. 22V) and the DC input range of the operating voltage (16-60V) is extremely wide.
The integrated WiFi module enables convenient system monitoring in real time via Direct Connection or remote control via the S-Miles cloud platform.

Integrated WiFi
The HMS-400W-1T inverter from Hoymiles is characterised by its integrated industrial-grade Wi-Fi module, which ensures a high level of reliability. With this integrated Wi-Fi, it is possible to monitor the inverter without additional accessories. Users can either utilise a direct connection for real-time monitoring or control the inverter remotely by using the S-Miles Cloud platform. This enables convenient and efficient system monitoring for optimal performance of the mini solar system.
Simple structure
PV systems with Hoymiles microinverters are very easy to plan. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting frame or directly under the PV module. The solar module is connected to the microinverter directly on site, eliminating the risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
Optimum reliability
Micro inverter systems are inherently more reliable than conventional inverters. The decentralised design of a microinverter system ensures that a fault does not cause the entire PV system to fail. Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power in ambient temperatures of up to +65°C (150°F). The housing of the micro inverter is designed for outdoor installation and complies with protection class IP67.
