The syn 50-xh-30 from Growatt is a back-up box that acts as an emergency backup power supply for the home. It is able to provide up to 10kW from the solar storage system in the event of a power failure. The switching time is 0.5 seconds and the Back-Up Box is characterized by its user-friendly design, which makes it easy to install and operate.

Hybrid inverter
In contrast to conventional inverters, hybrid inverters can not only feed the electricity generated by the Solarasystem into the power grid, but also store it in batteries. This means that solar power is also available when the sun is not shining. Another feature of hybrid inverters is their ability to optimize a household's electricity consumption by preferring to use the solar power directly in the household before it is fed into the grid.
Active safety with afci function
With an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter is an arc fault protection device. It protects circuits in the event of arcing faults and acts as a circuit breaker against contact faults in low-voltage installations. I n addition to providing protection, it analyses current and voltage curves using digital signal processing and interrupts circuits in the event of fault signatures. The afci is also known colloquially as a fire protection switch, as overheating at poor contact points or flashovers between two conductors can be prevented by emitted signals.
The apx battery system
All the inverters mentioned above are compatible with the apx battery system. Thanks to the modular concept, the apx system can be used flexibly and expanded as required. A battery tower can be equipped with at least one to a maximum of six apx 5.0p-b1 battery modulescan be installed. One power module per tower is required for operation. A distinction is made between the apx 98020-P1 or the apx 98034-P2 can be selected. The bms must be purchased separately and an additional base is required for floor mounting.
Flexible expansion
The apx battery system from Growatt demonstrates its flexible configuration options. These can be expanded from 5kWh to 30kWh. The simple and modular design makes installation and expansion very straightforward with the help of cables. A further advance of the new storage system is that, unlike other systems, a battery cabinet is no longer required. Only a battery base is needed for a secure stand. The apx series supports the combination of mixed battery packs from new and old batches, as well as different capacities.
