This LFP battery from Growatt (mpn: axe5.0l-c1) is the basis of the Growatt axe low-voltage system, has a storage capacity of 5kWh and an integrated bms. The modular battery system has an integrated plug-in system so that no additional cable connections are required thanks to the stackable installation. Up to 10 batteries can be plugged together and a maximum of 8 towers can be operated in combination. The system therefore offers a flexible capacity of between 5kWh and 400kWh and can be connected to the inverter with just a single cable harness, as all external cables are integrated in one connector.
The cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate battery has a high temperature resistance, safety and stability and promises an expected service life of more than 10 years with up to 5,000 charging cycles. The axe LV battery system is compatible with all inverters in Growatt's SPF off-grid series as well as Growatt's sph and SPA series of single-phase storage inverters.
In addition to the axe battery modules, a base is available for ground installation of up to 10 storage units per tower, as well as a connection cable set for connection to suitable Growatt inverters.

LiFePO4 battery system
The axe 5.0l battery is based on the proven LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) technology, which offers a number of advantages. This advanced battery technology is characterized by high safety, a long service life and reliable performance. The cobalt-free LiFePO4 batteries are known for their thermal stability and their ability to deliver high discharge currents. Compared to other battery technologies, they are less susceptible to overheating and thermal failure. The axe 5.0l battery demonstrates high temperature resistance and stability and, with up to 5,000 charging cycles, offers an expected service life of more than 10 years.
Flexibly scalable
The modular design of the axe 5.0l battery from Growatt enables particularly flexible system planning. A battery tower can consist of 1 to 10 storage units, and it is possible to connect up to 8 of these battery towers together. This gives you the option of adapting the capacity of your energy storage system precisely to the requirements of your energy needs. Whether you have a small residential home or a large commercial system, the axe 5.0l battery gives you the flexibility to optimize your storage solution.
