The 150 bt fuel cell embodies the ultimate companion for generating electricity for your battery and is the latest addition to the 5th generation of efoy. Using a chemical reaction, it generates environmentally friendly energy and charges your battery all year round. The built-in charge controller monitors the charge status of your body battery/on-board battery and recharges it fully automatically when necessary. It then switches itself off (standby mode) as soon as the battery has reached its maximum capacity. In this way, you always have full energy reserves and protect your battery from potentially damaging deep discharging through continuous charging. This is done automatically and quietly so that you can enjoy your leisure time to the full. An additional inverter can also be used to power 230 V appliances such as a coffee machine or hairdryer.

The efoy power generation principle
The efoy fuel cell is based on direct methanol fuel cell (dmfc) technology. This technology enables the direct conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy without various intermediate steps and major efficiency losses. Electricity is generated by using the fuel (consisting of methanol) in the fuel cartridge and adding oxygen from the ambient air. This process results mainly in the generation of electricity, accompanied by low waste heat and water vapor, with only a small amount of carbon dioxide. This procedure is extremely efficient and is characterized by its extraordinary environmental friendliness.

Operating states
Auto" mode: Depending on the battery voltage, the efoy fuel cell is automatically switched on or off. The battery is also recharged automatically.
Sleep/Standby" mode: Here, the battery is not automatically recharged. If necessary, the efoy fuel cell carries out deep discharge protection of the battery and frost protection.
