The backup systems from Offgridtec are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. The systems include Lithium-Ion batteries from Pylontech, a suitable MultiPlus-II inverter, and a Cerbo GX MK2 for system monitoring from Victron Energy. This ensures that you can maintain your energy supply even in the event of a power outage.
Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus-II remains powered on even during a network fault and takes over the supply to connected devices. The transition occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.

To establish an ESS (Energy Storage System) with the backup system, an energy meter with connection cable is needed:
With this energy meter, you can perform a grid-parallel installation and subsequently monitor your energy consumption and control your energy costs. Thanks to phase compensation, you can operate the 3-phase meter for single-phase systems as well. This enables seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and loads into the existing power grid.
For an ESS to be considered in the preconfiguration, the meter must be purchased in advance or together with the system!

This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions up to 50A and expands the potential application area to energy storage system applications.
