Dekalin Dekaphon underbody protection 500ml black

Dekaphon 9735 underbody protection from Dekalin (mpn 6306dsy) is a resistant protective coating with anti-corrosive properties. Dekaphon 9735 is an underbody protection system specifically for wooden floor panels used in the construction of caravans, motor homes and mobile homes. The product has excellent sound-absorbing properties and also provides tough protection for the undercarriage of, for example, motorhomes, cars, trucks and buses. After drying, a robust film lies over the treated areas, which can withstand a wide range of climatic conditions as well as gravel and stone chipping.

Areas of application

Dekaphon 9735 can be used to reinforce underbodies, plywood or wheel housings. It is used as an underbody protective coating on, among other things, wooden floor panels in caravan and motorhome construction, and as corrosion protection for chassis, wheel arches and (side) sills in automotive, bus and truck construction.

Adhesion

In general, Dekaphon 9735 adheres very well (without special pretreatment) to a range of clean, dry, dust- and grease-free substrates. It is always advisable to carry out an adhesion test with the relevant materials beforehand. Further information can be obtained directly from us or from Dekalin.

Processing

Shake for 2-3 minutes before use. The surface to be treated must be clean, dry, free of rust, dust and grease. Dekaphon 9735 can be applied without additional equipment as it is supplied in a spray can. The optimum distance when spraying is approx. 30cm. Spray the surface with Dekaphon 9735 until a layer of the desired thickness is obtained (for warranty programs, follow the exact guidelines). If thicker coats are desired, it is recommended to allow the coats to dry in between. The product can be sprayed on without streaking or wetting and it does not drip. Turn can upside down after use and spray briefly to clean the spray head. Dirty surfaces and dirty fixtures can easily be restored to a "fresh" condition with solvent.
