The hvs-Battery Box from byd offers you a usable storage capacity of at least 5.12kWh and can easily be expanded to a maximum capacity of 12.8kWh per tower with additional high-voltage battery modules. To achieve the maximum capacity of 38.4kWh, up to 3 identical hvs towers can be connected directly in parallel. It is also possible to expand the system later by adding further hvs modules or parallel hvs towers. This makes it ideal for the operation of power-intensive consumers and supports you even in the event of a power failure, thanks to the integrated emergency power function, as well as in off-grid operation. The hvs series is once again equipped with state-of-the-art LFP battery cells, which are known for their longevity and safety.

Battery module hvs 2.56 kWh
The hvs 2.56 kWh high-voltage battery module from byd impresses with its high cycle stability and remarkable longevity thanks to its LiFePO4 technology. The modular and stackable design of the battery allows versatile use in various scenarios and is characterized by very uncomplicated installation. It offers outstanding performance, even under high loads. Alongside the battery management system and the base, the battery is the main indicator of the byd hvs Battery Box Premium. This storage system is very easy to expand up to 5 modules in series without cables. The parallel connection of up to 3 identical battery boxes also enables a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh.
The new system generation
The new byd generation is based on the tried-and-tested storage systems and offers all previous functions. You are launching a battery module on the market that has a higher storage capacity than its predecessor. Further development of the cell technology has reduced the system weight by almost 30 % and the installation depth by 8 cm, which requires less floor space and results in a slimmer appearance. A highlight of the new storage units is their IP55 protection class, which allows them to be used outdoors. In addition, the new generation offers even more flexibility and scalability. Up to three battery towers can now be connected to form a system. In terms of charging and discharging capacity, byd remains true to its line, as each battery can also deliver its nominal capacity as power, i.e. 1c. This makes the new series ideal for on-grid, on-grid plus backup and off-grid systems.
Modular battery system
The hvs Battery-Box can be configured with 2 to 5 hvs battery modules arranged in a series connection. This allows a capacity of 5.1 to 12.8kWh to be achieved. To achieve the maximum capacity of 38.4kWh, up to 3 identical hvs towers can be connected directly in parallel. It is also possible to expand the system later by adding further hvs modules or parallel hvs towers.
Supplied with power at all times: byd backup power and off-grid function
The hvs set is extremely versatile and can be used in both on-grid and off-grid systems. Its integrated emergency power function is particularly practical and often in demand. This enables the system to supply the entire household with power in the event of a power failure, either on one or three phases. The prerequisite for this is a compatible hybrid or storage inverter that supports both an emergency power and an off-grid function. Power and storage capacity: scalability made easy
byd attaches great importance to the scalability of its storage systems. The new B-Box hvs is easy to retrofit and enables simple expansion. A simple plug-in connection eliminates any cable clutter and unnecessary complexity in the product design. It is possible to add additional storage modules. Furthermore, by connecting up to three storage towers in parallel, a maximum storage capacity of 38.4 kWh and a discharge capacity of 38.4 kW can be achieved. It is important to note that each storage tower must have the same number of modules.
