The Offgridtec 2.25kW solar system with the 200l Fothermo boiler (MPN 018915) offers a comprehensive solution for your hot water supply. It includes 5 bifacial Luxen Solar modules, each with 450Wp, as well as all necessary cables to ensure a smooth installation. The photovoltaic stand-alone boiler features an integrated heat exchanger for environmentally friendly hot water supply and can be seamlessly connected to existing heating systems.
You can use hot water in the sink, shower, or kitchen without having to connect to the power grid. The installation of the solar system does not require a professional and can be completed with just a few simple steps.

Fothermo Photovoltaic Water Boiler 200 Liters - Hot Water Heater
The Fothermo 200L water boiler utilizes solar energy for cost-effective and environmentally friendly hot water. With three independently operating photovoltaic heating elements, it provides rapid and reliable hot water. The 3 MPPTs and DC heating elements ensure a photovoltaic heating capacity of up to 1,800W.
Flexible inlets and outlets allow for custom installation, including the option to connect a circulation line. Each boiler comes with overpressure and non-return valves. The stand-alone boiler can utilize a total of up to 6,000Wp of photovoltaic power. Existing heating systems can be directly connected to the built-in heat exchanger to ensure sufficient hot water even on cloudy days.

Supplementary Heating
The boiler can be supplemented in various ways when solar radiation is insufficient. One option is to use an existing pellet, gas, or oil heater that can be connected to the boiler via the integrated heat exchanger. A temperature sensor in the boiler controls the supplementary heating. Alternatively, an electric heating rod with a 6/4 inch thread can be installed. The maximum water temperature is 65°C, and a heated 200-liter boiler can supply about 450 liters of water at 34°C.
